如何に魅力あるLaceに仕上がるかのイメージを持ちながら、デザインを熟知した弊社社員が作成を行なっております。デザイン画が完成しましたら、コンピュータによるCAD設計を行なって『紋紙』の作成を行ないます。『紋紙』とはデザイン情報のすべてが入力された特殊な紙で作られた柄のデータであり、マシンで扱う糸1本1本の動きが指示されています。
We believe that the appeal of lace can be described in various ways such as pretty, glamourous, elegant and graceful. Our knowledgeable staff designers create the lace based on the finished design concept. Once the design drawings are complete, CAD design is used to create the pattern on a computer. The pattern data is printed on special paper including all of the design information and the instructions for the movement of each thread on the machine.
弊社には数種類のマシンがございますが、基本的に経（たて）方向に続く編地（ループ）が連結してできるベース生地を作ると同時に、柄模様を作る糸（柄糸）を横に振ることでレース生地が出来上がります。 デザイン会社で仕上げていただいた『紋紙』をマシン上に設置されているジャカード装置（柄読み取り装置）で読み込まれ、マシンによっては最大10,000本余りの糸が仕掛けられた柄糸で模様を作り上げていきます。生産能力はマシン仕様によって変わりますが、10～11時間の稼働に対して約3反/台です。
Our company has several types of machines, however a base fabric is created by warp knitting with concatenated loops lengthways, and the lace fabric is created with the thread to create the pattern (pattern thread) being inserted widthways. Patterns created by design companies can be read by a Jacquard machine (a device to read patterns) mounted on the machine, and then the pattern is created with the pattern thread (with up to 10,000 strands) by the machine. Productivity varies between machines, however usually 10-11 hours will produce 3 rolls of fabric per machine.
生産される生地には針折れによる不良、糸切れや油汚れ、その他にもたくさんの要因による問題が発生しております。そのため生産終了した生地は最初に検品作業に入ります。生産現場で発生・チェックされたキズ箇所以外にも問題がないかの確認を入念に行ないます。
Issues with fabric can occur for a variety of reasons, such as defects due to bent needles, thread breakage or oil staining. Consequently, all fabric that has completed the production process moves into the first inspection process. Apart from the defects which have occurred and have been flagged in the production process, careful checking is conducted to search for any other problems.
すべての問題個所を補修できるわけではありません。しかしながら不良個所を１か所でも少なくするために、とても繊細かつ根気のいる手作業を行ないます。たとえば糸切れした個所などは、刺繍枠と針を使って一つひとつ繋ぎ合わせて補修します。キズの多い反物は１日以上かけても仕上がらない時がありますが、ここでの補修作業を完璧に行なう事こそが、次の工程である染色工程における２次的事故の抑制に繋がります。
Not all defects can be fixed. However, careful and patient manual checking is undertaken to resolve as many defects as possible. For example, for places where there has been thread breakage, each spot is carefully joined together and repaired with an embroidery frame and needle. Bolts of fabric with multiple defects may take more than a day to repair, however by perfectly repairing the fabric at this point, it prevents further damage in the following step which is the dyeing process.
染色工場では工程中での寸法安定性を維持するための染色温度よりもずっと高い温度での熱処理『プリセット』を行ない、終わったら、糸や生地に付着している様々な汚れを除去するための精練加工を行ないます。その後、染色・ソーピング（余分な染料の除去）を施し、お客様へ色目の確認を行なうための確認生地を送付します。確認後、柔軟などの仕上剤などを付着させながら、指示された生地巾・リピートで熱処理を行なって仕上げます。最後に検品・梱包作業を行なって当社への出荷となります。
In the dyeing factory, heat treatment called presetting is conducted at a temperature higher than the dyeing temperature to maintain the fabric dimensions. This is followed by a cleaning process to remove dirt attached to the threads or the fabric, and then the dyeing and soaping (to remove excess dye) processes. A fabric sample is then sent to the customer for a color check. Following this check, fabric softener etc. is used and heat treatment is conducted to achieve the requested fabric width and pattern repetition. A final inspection and then packing means the fabric is ready to be shipped to us.
染色工場で仕上げられた生地は、余程の急ぎ案件で無い限りは弊社に納品していただきます。 弊社ではお客様に安心・安全な生地の提供を行なうために、営業マン自らが責任をもって生地の最終検品を行ないます。
Fabric dyed at the dyeing factory is usually delivered to us (unless it is a really urgent order) so that our salesperson can conduct a final, personal inspection of the fabric so we know that we are always delivering reliable and safe products to our customers.
色目・生地巾・リピート等、染色工場より納品された生地に問題が無ければ、お客様の指示される出荷先へと納品させていただきます。
If there are no issues with the fabric that has been shipped from the dyeing factory such as color, fabric width or pattern repetition, the product is shipped to the address given by the customer.
